Job Responsibilities.

  • Lead a team of Warehouse Supervisors and Warehouse Assistant to perform warehousing operation efficiently and safely to meet the service level expectations.
  • Ensure new staff is trained and certified according to established SOPs and Safety & Health compliance at all times.
  • Provide ground leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices.
  • Ensure high level of inventory accuracy at the warehouse by enforcing SOP and robust cycle count rhythm in place.
  • Effective warehouse space planning and utilization.
  • Manage all documents and records of assigned division. Ensure the integrity of all warehouse documents and records is maintained and protected from loss / corruption.
  • Ensure that all documented warehouse processes are implemented according to the set standards. Conduct regular internal audits to ensure that documented processes are followed correctly.
  • Meet or exceed all customer's KPIs and internal quality objectives. Conduct regular management reviews to monitor the KPIs and quality objectives. Report warehouse performance to the manager / Senior Manager.
  • Appraise & communicate staff performance to key personnel and look into individual's development.
  • Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse administration with high level of employee engagement / relations.
  • Ensure efficient communication with the customer and that customer's requirements are made known, understood and fulfilled by the division.
  • Vendor management – to manage and evaluate existing suppliers; to obtain approval for new suppliers
  • Implement continual improvement initiatives & facilitate problem solving within the warehouse to cultivate an environment for continuous improvement on the ground.
  • Responsible for the satisfactory and complete fulfillment of any other work-related tasks as assignment by the manager / Senior Manager.


Job Requirements.

  • Minimum Diploma in logistics discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of PDC experience with managerial background & good track record.
  • ISO 9001 trained and experience.
  • Strong knowledge and skilled in industrial engineering.
  • Strong leader with problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision.
  • Ability to motivate staff towards continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and requirements.
  • Must be willing to be based in PTP.
