Job Responsible

  • Responsible for the operations and preparation of Japanese cuisine.
  • In-Charge of Teppanyaki, Sushi, Sashimi as well as other hot and cold Japanese cuisine.
  • Liaise with Executive Chef in creating, improving and managing Japanese cuisine menu.
  • Ensure effective food cost control and optimum utilization of ingredients.
  • Maintain the quality, quantity and cost of all ingredients and finished goods.
  • Handle paperwork and prepare menu analysis and ordering of ingredients on periodic basis.

Job Requirements

  • At least 6 year(s) of working experience in Japanese cuisine is required for this position.
  • Highly motivated and able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Strong knife skills and good understanding of Japanese cuisine.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Conversant in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to converse in Japanese would be an added advantage.
  • 2 Full time position(s) available.
  • Candidate that could start in short notice will be given priority.
