The Role:  Plant Manager (Manufacturing) – Malaysia

Lead end-to-end plant operations with full P&L ownership, driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance in a discrete manufacturing environment. This role focuses on Lean Manufacturing, operational excellence, and automation to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and support sustainable growth.

Key Scope:

• Set and execute plant strategy, KPIs, and annual operating plans
• Drive Lean, continuous improvement, and digitalisation initiatives
• Ensure on-time delivery, product quality, and efficient production flow
• Strengthen preventive maintenance to minimise downtime
• Lead ISO 9001/14001/45001 compliance, audits, and EHS standards
• Manage costs, CAPEX, and profitability optimisation
• Build and develop high-performing cross-functional teams
• Engage customers, suppliers, and stakeholders; support RFQ feasibility

Requirements:

• Degree with 10+ years in mechanical/manufacturing environment
• 5+ years in Plant Manager / Operations Head role with P&L
• Strong Lean Manufacturing and people leadership skills
• Proven track record in driving operational improvements and change
• Effective communicator in English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage
